From the description I gather the devices are audio interfaces of some sort? Maybe you need to use PipeWire instead of PulseAudio, as per this thread:

From this, I think we can discount the possibility that containerization is causing Easy Effects to be unable to access system files that are necessary. That being the case, you can choose which package format you prefer. I have never used Easy Effects. This means I am not very familiar with how to use it, either.
