Can't install Oracle Virtual Box - error message

Running Zorin 16.3 core. Tried to install VB 7.0.20 for Linux from the Oracle website:

Vbox 2

and got this error message:

It does not give me anymore information on what is wrong. Am I trying to install the wrong version for my OS? I did a search on what version of Ubuntu Zorin 16.3 was on and it said Ubuntu 22.04. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Zorin 16.3 is based on Ubuntu 20.04, so you're trying to install the wrong package. Zorin 17.x is based on Ubuntu 22.04.

Thanks for setting me straight on the Ubuntu version. I just tried to install VB for 20.04 and it took longer but still got an error:

When you login are you running Wayland or Zorin on xorg? My only other comment is that from experience I have found virt-manager to be far superior to virtual box.

Maybe you should try installation of downloaded .deb file using gdebi package installer?
Sorry if my idea is too naive.

Sorry not much of a techie, how would I fin out if I'm running Wayland etc.?

When yo get to the login screen and enter/choose your user name but before you enter the password, a cog appears lower right. Click on it to see if it says Zorin desktop or Zorin on xorg with a dot at the side of it. Use your cursor keys to select Zorin on xorg. Then enter your password to log in.
