Can't Install Winbind

Before doing anything else you need to press the left shift key to see the GRUB menu at boot time, if it does not show you may need to edit GRUB:

OK, fun and games, fun and games. I remembered I installed Zorin with EFI and used @Aravisian 's advice on another thread that if an EFI install, press the Esc(ape) key. Nope! Just get the bootloader script, with the [OK]s scrolling by! I discovered that GRUB in Zorin 17.1r2 has a timeout of 0 and is set to be hidden! Making changes as outlined in the post I have linked should now show GRUB menu when you start the machine. Choose 'Advanced/Recovery' option at boot.

1. Enable networking.

2. Drop to root prompt and enter:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Afterward, don't select continue. Power off the machine and reboot.
Now try installing Winbind again.
