The local LUG coordinator recommends disabling snapd on Ubuntu 20.04/20.10 to avoid security risks, similar to telnet and finger. They also suggest installing sshguard for extra protection. What do you think about these security tips, especially considering your use of Spotify?
Currently I don't use spotify. Your link relates to android anyway so not relevant. The main issue with snapd is a security iissue. Similarly systemd is like giving your PC a barcode that anyone can read, hence my main preference for non-systemd OS's.
If you can't play Spotify music on Firefox, try downloading it for offline use. The NoteBurner Spotify Converter lets you save Spotify tracks as local files, so you can listen on any device without an internet connection.
