Zorin 18, No option to turn rulers on in photoflare. View has no option for rulers.

It's possible that this feature doesn't exist in the Linux version of Photoflare. It'd be best to ask over on the project's issue tracker or their forum (though it doesn't seem very active) about this as this is application-specific.
I have no familiarity with this software, but there's a setting to show a grid. Is that maybe what you're after?
no, I know about the grid and can select that. I posted a query on there forum. Thanks for trying to help. It is most appreciated.
