Hey Irrelevant to the post but, how can I get the caplock + num lock indicators on the taskbar?
I have not tested if this repo is still good:
Found it on Gnome extension site: Lock Keys - GNOME Shell Extensions
regards
What is the Shell version of Zorin OS 16?
and how would I install it on that?
First install gnome-shell-extension-prefs
sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-prefs
then firefox addon: GNOME Shell integration – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)
Then restart firefox and go to the gnome extension site to enable it.
Thanks Works, I'll make sure to add this to the OEM of the zorin machines we're making.
hi !
I have installed gnome-shell-extension-prefs, I have also installed the firefox addon: GNOME Shell integration – Get this Extension for Firefox (en-US).
Then I restarted Firefox and gone to the gnome extension site to enable it.
But nothing.
Then I came back to the Gnome extension site and I downloaded the keys-indicator@caasiu.github.com.v5.shell-extension and extracted it.
But now I don't know how to do to implement it !!!
Why is it so difficult to have this status in the task bar ?
On other side I have installed one application following Ubuntu instructions :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tsbarnes/indicator-keylock && sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install indicator-keylock
But that only indicates when there is a change in a small independent window.
That doesn't suit me!
On the other hand, how is it that a distribution like Elementary OS has managed to do so since version 8?
But maybe since the date of the last post new ideas have been applied that I am not aware of ?
Best regards to all
Marc
