I have not tested if this repo is still good:

Found it on Gnome extension site: Lock Keys - GNOME Shell Extensions

regards

What is the Shell version of Zorin OS 16?

and how would I install it on that?

First install gnome-shell-extension-prefs

sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-prefs

then firefox addon: GNOME Shell integration – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

Then restart firefox and go to the gnome extension site to enable it.

hi !

I have installed gnome-shell-extension-prefs, I have also installed the firefox addon: GNOME Shell integration – Get this Extension for :fox: Firefox (en-US).
Then I restarted Firefox and gone to the gnome extension site to enable it.

But nothing.

Then I came back to the Gnome extension site and I downloaded the keys-indicator@caasiu.github.com.v5.shell-extension and extracted it.
But now I don't know how to do to implement it !!!

Why is it so difficult to have this status in the task bar ?

On other side I have installed one application following Ubuntu instructions :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tsbarnes/indicator-keylock && sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install indicator-keylock

But that only indicates when there is a change in a small independent window.

That doesn't suit me!

On the other hand, how is it that a distribution like Elementary OS has managed to do so since version 8?

But maybe since the date of the last post new ideas have been applied that I am not aware of ?

Best regards to all
Marc

@Marc_Driver You can follow this guide to see if it helps you:

Welcome to the Forum!

First go in the Software Center and install the Extension Manager:

When installed, open it, go to the ''Browse Tab'' and search for ''Lock Keys''. You should get 2 Results. Take the one from kazimieras.vaina:
