Change default location of snap packages

Hi all,

I just installed Zorin Pro for the first time earlier this week, and the experience has been good so far! One thing that I found a bit confusing though is that the snap packages are installed in my home directory, instead of hidden elsewhere (like vanilla Ubuntu).

Have anyone else experienced something similar, and what is the best practice for moving this folder elsewhere? Just want to keep my home folder a bit cleaner, that is all.

Cheers,

I don't know anything about moving it, but I hide mine:

From terminal:

cd /
echo snap >> ~/.hidden
