Check what browser add-ons/extensions you are using, probably a must do

I watched this video a few days back by Techlore and ... you should probably check against the list in a google docs also linked and remove if on the list ...

I tend not to bother with either add-ons or extensions.

I haven't watched the video (work hours), but I quickly searched Mellowtel. From its userguide, which now returns a 404: "The library [Mellowtel] lets you share your unused internet with trusted companies that use it to access and retrieve data from the Web."

...so it provides a residential proxy for corporate clients? Residential proxies are a horrible idea in the first place (I can think of exactly one legitimate use case), but any time a corporation wants to use someone else's personal Internet connection, something is very wrong.

You don't use UBlock Origin?

I think there is a built-in blocker on the phone's browser, plus I also have AdAway on the Android Device.
