...when maximizing from the taskbar. It was fine on Zorin 16 but since switching to 17, it was like Elaine dancing.
It's so nice now! Feels luxurious.
I noticed the same thing on other distros so it wasn't a Zorin thing. Either Gnome or Chrome fixed it, probably by accident.

Are you using Wayland maybe? Might be that that's making the animation a little smoother than X?
Been using Wayland since 17.
I wonder if this affected other Chromium browsers like Brave.
Maybe most people didn't care, bothered me tho.
