At settings >default applications > browser you can set google chrome then.

Grazie per la risposta ma avevo già tentato senza alcun risultato,ho provato anche da terminale ma rimane la dicitura:google chrome non è in grado di determinare o impostare il browser predefinito.Vorrei evitare un ripristino delle impostazioni.
In which package format did you install chrome? Did you install it as a .deb package as in the linked instructions or as a flatpak or others?
There are the fewest problems with the .deb package. I'd recommend this version and you don't need to set special permissions.
If you have installed it as flatpak, first remove it before installing the .deb version.
If you want to use flatpak, you could install flatseal and then adapt the permissions of google chrome and grant access to system files/users files and look if that helps.
