Clock in taskbar is missing after every suspend

since a while I noticed, that after each login after suspend (not after reboot) the clock in the taskbar is missing. I can correct this with a manual gnome reset (alt + ctrl + r then Enter) but it's a little bit annoying.

Does anybody has an idea what to setup, alter or avoid to make that behavior disappear?

You could try adding ntp that keeps the time updated:

sudo apt install ntp

Source:

It may affect the clock staying on the panel.

will try that after returning and give feedback, @Aravisian - thanks in advance for your knowledge

A bit lacking where Gnome-extensions are concerned... I often hope that in posting, it helps steer the thoughts of the other user in a direction that helps them to find a solution.
