Computer will not start at ALL

i am at a loss, i pressed the power button and did other suggestions but still it is not powering on

Are you dual Booting with another OS like WIndows OS?
How long has Zorin OS been installed?

Is this a PC (tower) or a Notebook computer (Laptop)?

Have you checked the power cable and or battery? Is the red led power light lighting when plugged in, even if not powering on? Do you hear fans try to spin or another other sounds?

it was a laptop that already had Zorin on it and not Windows OS but the computer was Refurbished i will say and the computer was charging because the light was on and the fans are not even spinning because it is not turning on

Do you see anything flash on the screen when you try?
Is the light currently on, now? IF plugged in, does the battery light shine?

nothing flashes on my screen but the battery light turns on when plugged in

i mean the charging light does

If you are not even seeing POST, this is before the operating system initializes; you are not seeing a motherboard logo or anything else...
The first thing I would think is motherboard failure. Has it been running hot?

yes a little

There are several possibilities - Screen failure, etc. But I think motherboard will be the most common. Are you practiced in opening Notebook Cases? The best way to know is to take a look inside.
What we know is it is unlikely to be the EFI (Motherboard operating system) or Zorin OS (The U.I. Operating system) because it is not able to initialize to either.
Given the fans do not spin or any other sounds, it makes a screen failure seem less likely.
I know refurbished, but does it have any warranty?

it does but i also want to see what it is so that is it can be solved at home then i can fix it but if it has to go in then i will see if they need it to be fixed by themselves

Opening a case yourself may void a warranty.
If it has warranty, it seems best to make use of it. It is not often things break while the warranty is still active...
