Configure mouse scroll speed

Hello,
I was wondering how we can configure the mouse scrolling speed on Zorin OS 15.
I searched and there are many solutions with the terminal, being a beginner I prefer to avoid these solutions ...
I installed gnome-tweaks and ran it but I can't configure the mouse scrolling.
Can you help me?

For information I have :

  • a Logitec classic wired mouse
  • Zorin OS 15 core

Based on my research, it is not possible to tweak the mouse scrolling speed with Gnome Tweaks or even with a GUI tool. To be honest, this is an unnecessarily complex procedure. It should've just been a setting in the options... this is just as hard on other distros.
But I digress, you can follow the short instructions here and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't say it's complex, but I agree that it could be simpler and this is an area where I think Zorin OS should definitely add its touch!

Have you looked at
Zorin>Settings>Devices>Mouse & Touchpad

But there are no settings related to scroll speed. To my knowledge, this setting is also missing in other distros.

Will imwheel work?

Yeah that does work. I mentioned it earlier in one of the posts above.

just to add to this, I would love for this to just be a setting. I have no idea why it's not? I know other distros also don't have a setting for it. It just seems so outlandish that it's not a thing yet. :o

It is in Zorin OS Lite.
mousespeed

This may come down to a difference in Desktop Environments.

Where in that screenshot is there a setting to change mouse wheel scroll speed?

No where. I mistaked...
I was thinking about mouse pointer speed, not the scroll wheel.

this solution isn't working anymore, as the script is not available from the mentioned website anymore

This thread is 3 years old and I doubt it will work on newer release of Zorin or on Wayland.

is there any working fix for the latest version 18? i have the issue that my trackpad scrolls crazy fast, especially in chrome browsers, i scroll a whole page in 2cm of finger movement. mousescrolling is fine but the trackpad is way off and unusable.

If you are on Wayland this tool may help. I haven't tested it yet (and I'm not experienced to check if the script is safe to use):

On Xorg you can use xinput or imwheel.
