Connecting Outlook Calendar to Evolution

I am new to Zorin and am setting up my accounts. I am using my personal outlook account for email and calendar. The email set up was problem free. Getting the calendar to connect is anything but. I have tried several approaches found on this forum and have yet to find anything that works. Ultimately I am setting up a WebCal and going through the outlook calendar webpage. Permissionwise it appears to work but I end up with an error: The calendar backend servicing “Unnamed” encountered an error. The reported error was “Bad file format.” I have tried several URL sites to get to the server but nothing has worked. I also attempted the IMAP setup and the MSexchange feature but that failed as well for server authentication. Maybe the solution is to use Thunderbird although I would rather not.

Do you use the built-in version of evolution or another package (flatpak...)?

I am using the built in version. The "evolution -ews" package is installed.

I'm also wanting this. I see in the Gnome 49 version of the Online Account connector that it only requires one Microsoft 365 connection login and you get your Outlook mail, OneDrive, and Calendar connection. The current Gnome 46 connection also doesn't allow any "shared with me" OneDrive folders to show any files. Directories are empty. It also makes my Web Apps for Excel and Word to fail unless I access my OneDrive folders first as the Web Apps won't log into OneDrive to display your files. Are there any plans, or is it possible to update to Gnome 49? That would be sweet...

@PJ70 It is not possible to upgrade gnome to version 49 and there are no plans at the moment. Probably Zorin 18 will stay at gnome 46 until Zorin 19 will be released with a later gnome version.
