I have the latest Zorin Lite on a PC and the latest Zorin Core on a Tablet. I want to transfer files via a data cable but cannot see the other device. I have even installed Files on the PC but with no luck. Any help please?

you need a Crossover cable to do that, not a classic cable

your tablet can't see your computer, but your computer would see the tablet if you set the tablet to MTP transfert

Why you don't use BT connection or Wifi on the same network ?
I managed to get Zorin Connect to work by turning off the Firewall. I'll have to look into setting that up properly. It's would be easier to plug-and-play with a cable. Many thanks anway.

When both Devices have an Ethernet Port, You could try it with an Ethernet Cable. Or You use for both Devices an external Drive as Bridge.
