So Zorin doesn't support applets in the panel? Looking for a CPU Temp Applet that sits in the panel. I know there is Conky, but I got errors when trying to install it.
I use Conky like a fiend. If you would like, you can start a thread to troubleshoot conky.
Have you tried Vitals extension?

Beneath @Aravisian's Suggestion with Vitals (which is a good Suggestion), I can recommend psensor, too. You can install it with the Terminal Command sudo apt install psensor
By default it doesn't show the Values in the Taskbar. you ahve to activate what Valuse You want show.
