Dell Inspiron 15 3520 not detecting Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse but can detect other blue tooth devices

Dell Inspiron 15 3520 not detecting Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse but can detect other Bluetooth devices. It seems to be an issue with Zorin OS 17 since my phone can even see the Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse.

Welcome to the Forum!

Did you take a Look in the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates if there is maybe a Driver offered? And did You checked if the Mouse supports Linux?

I looked in additional drivers and it says no additional drivers available. I have tried different versions of Linux Ubuntu, Mint, and Debian the Bluetooth mouse works fine on those distributions of Linux but it does not work on Zorin OS. This seems to be some sort of software bug on Zorin where it is not showing/detecting Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse. I like Zorin OS so far out of all the distributions I have tried so far but it is annoying the Bluetooth mouse is not working.

Update

I found out what was causing the issue and how to fix it. First I had to install Blueman Bluetooth Manager from the software store and then I had to go view and uncheck hide unnamed devices which apparently is on by default. After doing this I was able to see my Bluetooth mouse which only had a mac address displayed with no name. I suspect Zorin OS has their Bluetooth setup by default to not show unnamed Bluetooth devices which was causing me issues since Bluetooth devices will not always have a name.
