Thanks for the thread, I hoped that it's not a glitch only at my end.
So I have the same issue, with freshly installed Zorin 16. Had Zorin 15.3 in the past for a while actually, no issues there with Google Chrome, as my primary browser.
And I am running 16 GB ram, 9gen i7 (9750H), Geforce gtx 1650, and dual booting with Win11.
Now I'll switch to Chromium, hope that the issue goes away.
