I haven't. I'll try installing the 5.8 kernel.
I installed the latest Linux kernel and now it boots correctly but it only shows boxes instead of text. I used a font that's not preinstalled, maybe that's causing issues?
Edit: when I try to change fonts, the fonts app just crashes. It seems like all apps aside from GNOME ones work properly.
Can you try restarting Gnome Shell?
Or try
sudo apt install --reinstall zorin-os-desktop
I tried these solutions and they didn't work.
Fixed! I deleted font cache and now it works. Thank you so much for your help!
For future reference, if anyone has my issue (I doubt it), install Linux kernel and remove font cache to fix the issues.
