Some emojis aren't displayed where they should be but actually exist in GNOME Characters. For example, the face with diagonal mouth, the dotted face and the melting face aren't in Faces & People but can be found manually.
The next time that you want to paste characters in writing fields where the emojis input isn't available search the emoji that you want to insert search for it in GNOME Characters and it will be there
