Double-click in file explorer not working

Running Zorin OS 17.3 Core

Double-click to open folders and files not working. Folders and files don't do anything when double-clicked. The single-click option is working.

Please advise on how to get the double-click working. Thanks!

Open Nautilus and go in the Settings:

and in the Settings, You have at the first Settings Block the Possibility to set up Double-Click:

Thanks, but I tried that, and the double-click option doesn't work.

There are a couple of settings that might be related:

  1. Settings -> Accessibility -> Pointing & Clicking -> Double-Click Delay.
  2. Settings -> Mouse & Touchpad -> General -> Primary button.

Can you take a screenshot of those? Mostly so that you can revert back to them in case you need to, the next thing to do would be to play around with them a bit and see if they make any difference.

Somehow, the Double-Click Delay you mentioned got reduced to 0 (I think - whatever the lowest is on that sliding bar). I changed that to lineup with a little vertical line on the slider, which I assume is a default level, and that made the double-click work again. Thanks for your help!
