Double click to run sh file instead of open it

Hello :grinning:,

I am beginner on Linux and i created a .sh file on which I made it executable by right-clicking on it then on "Permissions" and checking "Allow the execution of the file as an application".

But I would like that when I double click on it it executes and does not open with an editor.

Do you have some ideas ?

Thanks you for reading me

you have to right click --> run as program
The latest version of gnome and nautilus does not allow direct double-click script execution

Okay thanks for your respond
