Hello and welcome.
Forget IDM and install FDM
https://dn3.freedownloadmanager.org/6/latest/freedownloadmanager.deb
does it work like idm i mean does it download file in segments
Yes, It does better than IDM, I was IDM user for more than 10 years before I migrated to Linux. And I am very happy with FDM
Just a quick FYI, Firefox and Chrome have their built in managers, and will allow downloading in the background. There is no need for a 3rd party download manager, unless you truly require ones unique abilities.
The chances of file corruption go up with download managers, especially for large downloads like ISO files.

I Have Used Firefox And Chrome Alot In Windows But As Far As I Know Download Stops When You Close The Browser And Its Possible TO Download In Background Using Chrome Or Firefox After Closing The Browser Then Please Tell Me How Should I Do It
I think either Firefox or Chrome has an option in it to allow for background operations, which I believe to be things like downloading.
i have used both browser for a long period of time but i was didn't able to find such option
Same. In Firefox, closing FF will stop all downloads.
Brave seems to defer to Snap or Flatpak installations, which is why they cannot download in the background. Have you tried Brave installed as .deb? I am not sure if it will do it either.
yes i have installed brave browser but i don't think any file .deb extension is available brave browser official website i have installed brave browser using these command
sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl
sudo curl -fsSLo /usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg
echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main"|sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install brave-browser
Ah, so you are using the .deb package.
It looks like a download manager is your only option to continue running a download in the background.
