Dual display in inspiron 1525

I just installed zorin 15 core in my dell ispiron 1525 , it hascore 2 duo. One thing I was realy hoping for was to have external display with it via hdmi .

When I connect with HDMI , the primary screen goes black showing the cursor , and keeps blinking.

Can we use xander , but as hdmi needs to be connected, as soon as I connect the screen goes black. Help me out with this.

In terminal, could you please enter in

sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

When complete, run in terminal

sudo apt update

sudo apt dist-upgrade

sudo reboot

and after rebooting, unplug the power cable from your HDMI connected monitor then plug it back in.
