I just installed Zorin LTE on a Macbook Pro with an onboard DVD. When inserted, the machine recognized the DVD. Parole would open but Parole would not play it so I searched and found instructions to load ubuntu-restricted...and libdvd, etc... After following these troubleshooting steps, when I insert the DVD, the machine recognizes the specific DVD/movie name, parole opens, and attempts to play but all I get is horizontal lines across the player. I checked 'Additional Drivers' in case something was amiss in that regard but it shows no additional drivers needed. Any help?
