Dynamic Panel Transparency

A very useful feature of dash-to-panel extension is that users can turn on dynamic transparency (taskbar is transparent when on desktop with no maximized or fullscreen window but taskbar becomes opaque in presence of maximized or fullscreen window).

The current default behaviour of Zorin OS Taskbar is distracting and unpleasant with transparent panel even when focused window is maximized. Currently users can set a custom transparency (or no transparency at all) but it's not intuitive/smart. It will be better if the Taskbar automagically change transparency depending on whether the focused window is maximized or not.

I installed the gnome extension but it isn't doing anything?

you have just necromanced :skull: 4 month old Feedback thread.

if you have a new question, it is better you start a new thread under General help.

I think I covered dynamic panel option in the unofficial Zorin 15 manual via an extension available for Gnome Tweaks - however if the current Shell is newer than that supported it won't work.
