I haven't tried it EOS8 yet, but have tried previous versions before... wasn't very impressed with it despite the good reputation that it had. Although I appreciate that they are making dedicated tools for their own DE.
Why not just use Brave search directly, instead?

Yes, if you can't get what you are looking for you can use an alternative. Clicking on the cog reveals more (unwanted!) search engines.
Oh, ok I see. I'll give it another try. If I recall it wasn't giving me good results. I've been using Qwant for a good while now and don't have much complaints about it.
I don't like Qwant. There were some reason behind why I don't use it.
