Errors while trying to update, "mirror-sync in progress"?

It does not. No effect.

Set the server to main. Because it does look like it your using CR

You mean like this?
It is always set to main

What happens if you switch to another country ? one close where you live ?

This is the inevitable result from switching a server close to me, or the main one.

Sounds like the same issue like this users, try removing added ppa's

Meaning everything that is not in the stock Zorin install, including Librewolf?

librewolf and google earth ? try switching those off first.

I have done so, reloaded and was met with the same error. Should I switch back to main server?

Worth a try yes. kisak mesa also turn off.

Still

kisak mesa also disabled ?

If yes in terminal sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Kisak mesa is indeed disabled and this is the output:

Change server and try again in terminal...otherwise i am out of ideas.

I've gone through 3-4 servers, so we can assume that is a dead end.

you may have actually hit it while the remote mirror was synching... in which case, waiting an hour or so, running apt-get clean (or apt clean) and then re-running the original apt-get update (or apt update).

If the error persists, you may want to notify the mirror provider if you can find a contact address, and then simply point your sources.list to a different mirror.

This problem started about 15 hours ago.
I might have to contact someone. Not sure how or who though.

Your output shows you using the Pacific (Costa Rica) Regional Server.
I have seen this happen before, too. You are not alone in this.
In such a case, manually editing the /etc/apt/sources.list file is the only way to get it to Main Server.

Thank you for the response, in what manner should I edit the file in order to be on the Main Server once more?

Also, it is read only when I open it through the GUI. Perhaps I have to use the terminal instead with superuser privileges to affect it.

You must elevate to root:

sudo -i

Then launch your file manager. (Zorin Core or Pro):

nautilus

(Zorin Lite or Pro Lite):

thunar

On Zorin Lite's Thunar, tap the up arrow key on the toolbar twice to get to root.
On Core's Nautilus, tap "Other locations" in the left pane, then "Computer" in the right pane to get to root.

In Root, navigate to /etcthen to /apt and right click on sources.list and select to open with text editor.

With the file open, look only to the lines that Do Not Have a hashtag (#) at the front.
In your case, remove the cr. from the front of each.
For example
deb http://cr.archive.ubuntu...
becomes
deb http://archive.ubuntu...

You must do this for each unhashtagged line that has the cr. at its begining.

What causes this issue:
It appears to be a long standing bug in Gnomes gtk-software-properties application that it does not respect the choices selected in its own interface and apply them to the existing files. It does not happen often.
