Have not done yet
It seems the IPad is not made for an etcher, or not capable ?
The plan is or now was, to download ZORIN 18
Etch it directly to USB stick, then proceed to computer with cleaned blank HD, no OS on HD what so ever.
How can I resolve this ?

Maybe try rEFInd instead of Etcher or the Fedora Metia Writer.

I don't think it is possible to install Linux natively or use the live version from an usb stick on an Ipad at the moment. This website shows the progress of some projects: https://ipadlinux.org/
One thing possible is to install linux inside a VM running on an Ipad with the UTM app.
