I'm looking for a way to make the scrollbars inside Evolution wider and non-disappearing. Any assistance is appreciated.
OS: Zorin OS 16 x86_64 Pro
Packages: 2207 (dpkg), 74 (flatpak),
Shell: bash 5.0.17
WM Theme: ZorinGreen-Light
Theme: ZorinGreen-Light [GTK2/3]
Icons: ZorinGreen-Light [GTK2/3]
You might look at this, in regards to Thunderbird Evolution:
Thanks. I'm referring to the Gnome Evolution Email App that comes with Zorin Pro 16.
You can affect system-wide scrollbar width with a custom gtk.css file placed in your ~/.config/gtk-3.0 directory.
It may be possible to isolate only the Evolution app, by sussing out its css class. I would need to log into Gnome and launch Evolution with GTK-Inspector to see if that can be located and whether or not it classifies the scrollbars. If it does not, then only a system-wide setting would affect it.
I too would like to have the change in the scroll bars but I do not have enough Linux experience to know how to find, much less modify the ".config/gtk-3.0 directory" -- but willing to try.
