Failed to download repository information

I have the same problem. How do I fix it? I tried this:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Still doesn't work. Here's what my terminal said:

But Software Updater still says: Failed to download repository information. Check your internet connection.

My internet is working, and the updater is set to the Main server.

It's Zorin OS Lite (so Xfce iirc)

Can you please open Software & Updates, click the Download From button on the First tab and ensure that drop down menu is set to "Main Server"?

Then click the Other tab and look through the list for:

Index of /mhsabbagh/greenproject/ubuntu bionic Release

and

Index of /kazam-team/stable-series/ubuntu bionic Release

Click one, then click the Remove Button on the bottom toolbar. Then repeat to remove the other one.

Then run sudo apt update and check if you see any changes in your terminal output.

EDIT: it works now! Read bottom.

I made sure it was still on Main server.
I deleted those two.
When i tried to close the program, a dialogue box popped up with the option to either reload, or close. Since you didn't mention any reloading, i clicked close, and ran sudo apt update in Terminal. Here's what I got:

EDIT: it still said failed to download repository.
But then I tried these three commands again:

sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

And now it works! Thanks!

So, terminal shows everything fine but Software Updater does not, correct? Can you reboot, then check now that we have done the above?
