Failed to install Zorin16 (Gigabyte M/B bug)

When you boot from USB, does it go straight to the USB port error or does it show the Zorin Grub Menu first?

zorin grub first

Can you try booting the LiveUSB, then tapping the e key or the tab key at the Grub Menu to bring up the Grub Editor?
You will know it when you see it as a whole lot of text. Search through that text until you see "quiet splash"
When you do, add iommu=soft to it, to make it look just like "quiet splash iommu=soft"
Then exit the editor and try to continue to boot.

i will try

it make my sytem error and cant open grub, only showing a comment.

Comment?

yeah a comment like // //

Ok, reboot - as before, tab or e except this time "quiet splash iommu=pt"

same bro,it even make cant use usb on grub

Ok, try disabling iommu in BIOS. Restart. Then boot again into the LiveUSB.

end then what should i do?

See what happens...

it more slow then before :frowning: to boot now

i think this is the end bro,i will back to garuda gnome then, but i will install zorin os if i buy a new pc,because zorin is the best linux i ever seen so far, thanks for everything

Be sure to re-enable IOMMU in your BIOS before you forget...

will do bro.

I think the correct command for this M/B is
amd_iommu=on iommu=pt
