Files in Folder smaller list view?

I have just installed Zorin 18 for the first time. I am trying to make it as Windows like as possible. One issue I have is if I have very large hard drives, as in 20GB hard drive with hundreds of files in there. What I want is the view the contents of this drive like Windows 11s "List view" where it has tiny small icons with the file name and they are down on one page with just their names and you scroll left to right to see the files on the drive.

In Zorin it has two options, List view and Grid view. However the List view is more like Windows 11s "Details view" with one long scrollable up and down list with file sizes and date modified in the list. This is not what I need or want.

Can I change it to like Windows please?

As I don't want this extra info and scrolling up and down. I want the tiny windows style list view. Is this possible?

The Gnome Nautilus File Manager that Zorin OS Core uses does not offer these kinds of features. It is quite basic.
It offers the two options you listed out.

I use Nemo File manager, by the Linux Mint team. It is a fork of Nautilus that retains the old features that Gnome removed from Nautilus. THis includes the Compact View, which I think is closer to what you are trying to achieve.

sudo apt install nemo

If that works using the compact view - you can set Nemo as your default file manager.
There are also other file managers you can test or try out.
This is one reason why Modular, not integrated applications are user friendly and preferable.
