Maybe you find your answer here

Hi,

"There is a built-in fingerprint login feature in 20.04 under Settings->Users->Authentication & Login."

this option also not showing for me.

Please review here:

in case you missed a step.

Hi,

thanks for sharing.

I have tried both steps before posting it here.

I may not be very helpful on this but hopefully, something I post may help point you in the right direction.
Can you try:

sudo apt install --reinstall touchegg libbsapi policykit-1-fingerprint-gui fingerprint-gui

Reboot, then try the first step in the post I linked to above and see if your fingerprint reader is detected and offering you the option.

Seems system cannot able to find packages,

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package policykit-1-fingerprint-gui
E: Unable to locate package fingerprint-gui

I had to look... those are both now deprecated.

So, clearly, they are not the packages that you would need.

The rest installed, though - have you rebooted and tested fingerprint reader?
