Fingerprint on Lenovo Ideapad

Hello all. First of all, I'm still very new to Linux all together, so forgive me. I have a Lenovo Ideapad that I dual boot Windows and Zorin with. My fingerprint reader works fine in Windows, but cannot seem to get it to do anything under Zorin. Here's my hardware:

Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 06cb:00fd Synaptics, Inc.
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 13d3:56ff IMC Networks Integrated Camera
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0bda:c123 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Bluetooth Radio
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

From what I could find searching, I'm thinking 06cb:00fd does not have drivers built for it, and this is why I cannot get it working. Does anyone out there know if there's a way around this, or perhaps a driver that's out there that I can use or try? I don't know the steps to take even if there is one, so any help would be great. Thank you!
