Fix Zorin freezes when reopen laptop lid

In my experience any of the closed threads talking about this issue helped me.

  • Most of them talk about a ignore laptop lid switch on settings but i couldn't find it.

  • Other thread suggest that if you have the Zorin Lite you can use this command : xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p /xfce4-power-manager/logind-handle-lid-switch -s false
    wich did work for 3 attempts and later don't.

So what i wanted to share is that if any of those 2 solutions didn't worked for you here is what i did.

  1. Go to Settings -> Screensaver
  2. Automatically there will be a pop up window that said "If you reopen your laptop lid, it won't work :cowboy_hat_face: "
  3. Inside the pop up window there will be a RESOLVE button, just click it and the problem will be solved.

I hope this tutorial/guide will help a lot of people out, cause i was searching ways to fix it for hours and the fix was very simple actually.
