Well, I learned recently that veoh.com will be no more come 11.11.2024. So I was foolish enough to purchase a downloader to get all my videos saved for posterity, such as they are! You can view them in this special show case, "In memory of veoh.com"
I'm confused, I don't understand what veoh.com has to do with celebrating 15-years with Zorin OS? Arn't the two separate entities and have nothing to do with each other officially?
Well all the videos I created bar one were made on all early versions of Zorin OS, starting with 4. At the time veoh.com was the only alternative to YouTube providing unlimited size of videos. I made the switch to veoh.com following YouTubes Terms and Conditions, particularly around Privacy. Vimeo was available but their free plan was very limited. (I now pay an annual subscription to Vimeo which allows 500 Gb weekly allowance. My only gripe with veoh.com was it's failure to get my part 2 of dual-booting Zorin 9 alongside Windows 7. I remember trying to upload it until 3 a.m. on the day we were due to fly to Majorca on our annual holiday. That is when I switched to Vimeo. The one video I have not included was on Ultimate Edition Gamer's.
