Forced Logout

Hello! First time attempt at Linux here. I downloaded Zorin onto my new built desktop at the recommendation of a friend, and the installation went well. However, about a minute after my first login, I was forced back to the login screen. Every time now feels shorter and now I only get about 5-10 seconds after logging in before I get kicked, all the programs close, and I have to log in again.

I disabled the need for multiple logins during setup, but this doesn't seem to have affected anything.

Any advice would be well appreciated.
