Found Gnome 45 in my updates this morning

Also Gnome 44 as well as some KDE stuff. Normal or did I mess with something I shouldn't have?

It is normal. The Gnome 44 and 45 dependencies can be included in the Flatpak or Snap packaging.

It is only used by the Flatpak or Snap packages and it does not upgrade your working Desktop Environment.

Great news! I was messing with Ubuntu in a VM following some tips and I'm pretty sure I used my Zorin terminal by mistake. Shouldn't be messing with it at 3 AM I should have been sleeping.

I am not one to judge.
