Apparently Zorin and foxclone hate each other cause foxclone expects all sorts of goodies like in Fedora, and there aren't any.
I contacted foxclone too about these nuosances
What do you mean with "goodies"?
I read, you shall not install foxclone on the system you want to backup, but I tested the installation of the .deb file in a Zorin live session. The installation worked, but foxclone didn't launch and the terminal showed "bash: /usr/local/sbin/foxclone: no permission"
I tried it then with
sudo -i
foxclone
and foxclone launched.
I could select my nvme drive with Zorin.

If you have an extra usb drive to boot from you can try
i use it all the time to clone my drives as a backup in case things go way wrong

I always recommend Rescuezilla, regardless of what OS and put it on a Ventoy USB with other "goodies".
