Freeze on video site Brave browser

Hi!
I am new with Linux (Zorin Os) aswell.

I have problem with freeze on Brave browser while browsing site with video on it. Is one specific site I am not sure I can provide a name coz It is for adults only (live streams) but i think this is important because it occur only on one website. If I can post it securely just say it :slight_smile:

The problem is exactly when I open site on 1min or so my cursor is starting stuttering and pc completely freeze. Other sites like yt, kick or so working nice.

Sometimes if I leave my pc on with brave on and come back for example after 2h sometimes it is freezed and only hard reset works.

I can provide you any log you need to fix it.

Hi, welcome to Zorin OS!

Try launching Brave from the terminal (you will find "Terminal" in the applications menu) like so:

brave-browser --disable-gpu

This will launch it with hardware acceleration disabled, which has proven to be a bit of an issue as of late, particularly with Chromium-based browsers.

Give that a try and see if you notice an improvement.

@zenzen I tried it and problem still exists. It is like 5seconds or so after launch that site on 3 cards in brave

Do You have that Issues with other Browsers, too or is it only on Brave?

Did not try it yet but i tried firefox and firefox its fine
