Fresh install ZOrin 16 Core No-Wifil Wireless 3165

I can't get my wifi working as well. It show no wifi adapter found in the Wifi Interface. My wifi is Intel Wireless 3165. It works in Zorin OS 15 but not Zorin OS 16.

Is this users solution any help?

Nope it doesn't (Although his laptop nearly same as mine since we have the same brand). I will paste the sudo dmesg | grep iwlwifi here:

[ 6.509537] iwlwifi 0000:01:00.0: can't change power state from unknown to D0 (config space inaccessible)
[ 6.509784] iwlwifi 0000:01:00.0: HW_REV=0xFFFFFFFF, PCI issues?
[ 6.513697] iwlwifi: probe of 0000:01:00.0 failed with error -5

Ok, let's try this one:

Nope it doesn't work as well. Those driver are included in Zorin OS 16 already. I did download the latest driver from Linux* Support for Intel® Wireless Adapters but the problem still persist.

Will it be linux kernel version issue?

I think the only solution left is to buy a new usb wifi adapter.

I bought a new wifi adapter and it was working for a while and now stopped working all of a sudden

Clarification for fd6130...

skrhee just needed to install his WIFI adapter driver. And then he was able to get his USB adapter to work. A lot of these issues are down to driver related.
