I was looking at Q4OS recently after I had purchased a laptop from 2013 that only had 4GB ram and a tiny processor. I wanted a lightweight os that could comfortably run on 1GB ram so that my little laptop would seem like a BEAST. I was really leaning toward Q4OS with Trinity (64-bit) as my top choice with antiX as a strong contender. One thing that fascinated me about the Q4OS project was the option to install right into Windows, without modifying your existing Windows system. So innovative. However a couple points about antiX pushed it into first place as the honorable first trial os for my new elderly laptop.
But for the @frustated-zorin I can understand your passion for Zorin, it is just a beautiful, tailored environment with all the luxuries and comforts. I hoping you can get the issues sorted out and enjoy your life again. I hate computer issues sooo much, because they trigger rage into me too. Good luck friend.
