i just wanna click a exe file and run it linux is so confusing why cant i just double click something and make it run
Because .exe file is a Windows file. Learning a new computer system can be frustrating but in the end lies a great reward. That said, have you tried using Zorin Connect instead?
IF you looking for packages that you double click Zorin OS uses .deb packages but mostly installation of applications goes through Software center nowadays.
Had used used two methods to handle mobile internet on linux.
-
Laptops with internal SIM reader or SIM-USB modem should trigger the mobile-network tool that is already installed. It should ask for the network PIN and credentials. After that the mobile network can be switched on and off via the network symbol in taskbar.
-
Easier way for nearly all laptops is phone bridging. In the phone search for hotspot or tethering in the settings. Configure a wifi name and password for you. Search this wifi name with the laptop wifi and connect to it.
Both methods work with already installed linux parts.
