Full White Blank Screen Issue After Booting Zorin OS (Dual Boot with Windows 10)

Hi everyone,

Full white blank screen appears right after the Zorin logo during boot. I have been running a dual boot setup with Windows 10 and Zorin OS for a while now, and this is the second time I have encountered this blank screen issue. The last time it happened, I had to reinstall Zorin to fix it.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be related to the dual boot setup? I’m considering switching to just Zorin or another distro if the problem persists.

My laptop has an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Graphics, 12GB of RAM, and is running Windows 10 alongside Zorin OS.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So you can't login to Zorin due to permanent white screen? Can you get to CLI? Try type ctrl+alt+(f2 to f6).

Also, which version of Zorin are you using?

Are Secure Boot, Fast Boot and TPM in the BIOS turned off?
Is Your BIOS in UEFI or Legacy Mode?
Is Fast Start-Up in Windows 10 turned off?
Are there any Error Messages shown?

Yes, I can’t log in due to the white blank screen. I will try using Ctrl+Alt+F2 to access the CLI. I’m using Zorin OS 16 Core.
