Hello,
I came across this game on Steam which are called "Breachway". It combines card games with space battle in an unique way. You can select your crew, buy weapons and devices to improve your ship. You can even select which ship to fly in. If you familiar with "Slay the Spire" genre, you'll move through space by points on the map and each points have an event that are triggered.
There's also factions in the game.
There's a demo on their site to test the game. It works perfectly via proton on Steam.
