I was wondering if there was a website that would show if a Steam game will not work with Linux due to anti-cheat deterrent or other reason ...... I guess that would also be for any OS not just Linux ....
This would sure save a lot of time and hair pulling (which I can ill afford) ......
protondb is the best source for this as storm linked above, if you connect your steam account you can view your games on the dashboard
you can also view detailed info for each title that includes overall status as well as player experiences which may list possible tweaks to get it working.
Storm .... catlikehana .... I can't thank you folks enough for first the website and then the examples of what can be done on the site ..... this is a tremendous help in not only finding games but also games that will or won't work with out trial and error AFTER they are downloaded ....
This well save me hours and hours of unnecessary work ..... I spent an hour exploring the site and I'm off again to explore it again .....
