Hi
I am going to preface this question with I am brand new to linux and learning as I go.
I have installed a windows 10 VM using gnome boxes. So far appears to be working fine. I have downloaded and installed Garmin Express. Program opens fine but does not see the Garmin plugged in.
That is where I am stuck ! Garmin Express is the only windows program I need to use. I could not figure out how to use wine V( I also read that others have said it does not work well ) Any help for a frustrated newbie !!
Check that USB passthrough is enabled in Gnome Boxes:

I have just tried what you suggested.
I get the message to turn on boxes ?
Or there is nothing under usb.
I have attached several pictures, maybe that will help ?
I can start over if it will help ? Thanks
Thanks

Check the installation method of Gnome Boxes; did you use the Software Store? If so, make sure that you use the source that says "Zorin OS" as opposed to the default offered of Flatpak.
Yes when I went to system tools I did a search for boxes. I installed from that way.
I did have flat pac in. I took it out and put the Zorin package one in.
I have done what you suggested. There are usb showing
- Generic usb 2.0 Crew ( I have a wireless mouse )
- Sonix Technology Co. Ltd. Toshiba - web cam
- USB device ( I figure that is probably the Garmin )
I have put all 3 on.
Not sure if I needed to ?
Hopefully this does the trick stay tuned
Probably the USB device, otherwise just trying until you find it; trial and error.
THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!!
Finally working !!
