Can you Post a screenshot of your alsamixer with "All" channels [F5] set.
Also give details of your soundcard/s listed by [F6].
Can you please edit your forum profile, to indicate which ZorinOS edition (e.g. Pro, Core, Lite, Education) you are using. That info will help us help you.
Hi and welcome.
Can you open a Terminal and copy and paste the following command by using the clipboard icon to the right of tholis command?:
lspci -v | grep -i audio
and post back the results please.
(Just to add Zorin 18 tends to identify S/PDIF even though it is not in use (had the same issue in 17) as I have a SoundBlaster Audigy Rx card.
Welcome to the Forum!
You could try it with Pulse Audio Volume control. It is a Tool for set up Audio Input and Output. You can install it with the Command sudo apt install pavucontrol
When installed, open it and take a Look at the Output Tab and the Configuration Tab.
