Gnome Characters don't display emoji

Gnome Characters don't display emoji. Noto Color Emoji has been installed.

I'm interested in this, it was going to be one of my next posts. In my case, many symbols aren't included in Cantarell.

sudo apt install fonts-noto-color-emoji
Should fix both issues.
(I'm on mobile and dunno how to implement commands from there, i don't know markdown and can't find the button.)

Hmm, I don't want to install Snap just for this.

I agree totally - is there not an emotes via synaptic?

È stato impostato fonts-noto-color-emoji per l'installazione manuale.

I chose to use Font Manager.
